BSREA was honored to participate in today’s Roundtable Discussion on “Promoting Agrivoltaics and Floating Solar” — jointly organized by EU, GIZ and the Power Division, Government of Bangladesh.
In a country where land is limited, Agrivoltaics and Floating PV present game-changing opportunities — enabling dual use of agricultural land and water bodies to generate clean energy while protecting food production and ecosystems.
🤝 The event brought together 50+ key stakeholders from the government, private sector, finance, research, and development partners. BSREA’s Senior Vice President, Board of Directors, and distinguished members actively took part in the discussions.

✅ A multi-stakeholder working group was initiated to promote Agrivoltaics and Floating Solar in Bangladesh
✅ Key barriers, opportunities, and financing pathways were discussed
✅ Global best practices and GIZ’s upcoming Agrivoltaics pilot were presented
