We are delighted to announce that the Bangladesh Sustainable and Renewable Energy Association (BSREA) and the NSEFI – National Solar Energy Federation of India (NSEFI) have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to advance regional collaboration in the field of sustainable and renewable energy.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Mostafa Al Mahmud, President of BSREA, and Mr. Subrahmanyam Pulipaka, CEO of NSEFI, marking a significant milestone in cross-border cooperation on clean energy.
This partnership is the result of a series of positive discussions that began with a virtual meeting on May 30, 2025, facilitated by Ms. Muskaan Sethi, Manager – International Relations & Cooperation at NSEFI, and Advocate A.S.M Munir, Secretary of BSREA.
The primary objective of this partnership is to strengthen regional cooperation in the field of renewable energy by fostering institutional collaboration, knowledge exchange, and joint initiatives. The MoU emphasizes the following areas:
Exchange of knowledge, policy experiences, and regulatory frameworks;
Joint research, publications, and advocacy initiatives;
Capacity building, skill development, and technical cooperation;
Collaboration on regional projects, funding opportunities, and sectoral studies;
Joint organization and participation in workshops, trade fairs, conferences, and stakeholder forums;
Facilitating business linkages, industry matchmaking, and bilateral study tours.
Both sides are excited to now move forward with operationalizing the MoU through joint action planning, knowledge exchange, collaborative research, and capacity-building initiatives that will contribute to achieving regional renewable energy goals.
This partnership underscores a shared commitment to accelerating the clean energy transition across South Asia through cooperation, nnovation, and mutual support.
