The Bangladesh Sustainable and Renewable Energy Association (BSREA) proudly supported the high-level seminar titled “Future of Energy in Bangladesh: Security, Sustainability, and Investment Opportunities”, jointly organized by the Bangladesh Chamber of Industries in collaboration with Greentech Foundation Bangladesh.
The event brought together policymakers, industry leaders, analysts, renewable energy experts, investors, and key stakeholders from both the public and private sectors to discuss the future direction of Bangladesh’s energy transition. The discussions focused on critical issues including energy security, sustainability priorities, renewable energy development, investment opportunities, policy consistency, energy efficiency, and grid modernization.
The seminar served as an important platform for constructive dialogue and knowledge exchange at a time when Bangladesh stands at a crucial stage in shaping its long-term energy strategy. Participants emphasized the need for stronger collaboration between government institutions, private sector stakeholders, development partners, and industry associations to accelerate the country’s transition toward a sustainable and resilient energy future.
The session featured valuable insights from several distinguished speakers, including Dr Hossain Zillur Rahman, Anwar-ul Alam Chowdhury (Parvez), Shafiqul Alam, Dr. Md. Rafiqul Islam, Siddique Zobair, and Mostafa Al Mahmud.
